What you need to bring and how you qualify...

There are no qualification requirements. We turn no one away.

At your first distribution (any Thursday), a volunteer will assist you in completing a registration card.

We ask only for information that we are required to maintain: your name, address, number in household, and birth dates.

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us, and your individual information will not be shared. We do not ask for Social Security numbers or proof of income.

You will be given an Ocean Shores Food Bank (OSFB) name card to bring with you on all future visits. You will also be given an entry number.

If it is your first visit, a volunteer will assist you during your shopping experience when your number is called. They will answer any questions you may have.

At the end of your shopping experience, a volunteer will assist you in getting your food to your vehicle.
The following types of food are generally available:
OSFB offers a grocery-style shopping model. We attempt to have a standard selection of items from which you may choose. Generally, you may expect to see the following:

Fresh fruits and vegetables

Canned fruits and vegetables

Cereals
-
Canned beans/proteins

Canned tuna and chicken

Soups
-
Tomato products
-
Pasta and macaroni
-
Frozen vegetables and meat
-
Eggs and bread
-
Dry goods such as rice, beans, cornmeal, etc.
During the summer months, we offer fresh vegetables from our garden.
Pet Food Available:
Through designated funds, we are happy to be able
to offer dog and cat food to our furry friends.
